How to Get into Canada at Niagara Falls from U.S?

I'll be in Rochester this weekend and will drive to niagara falls and have a valid u.s. passport and am wondering how i can get over to the canada side with ease. i would prefer to walk to the other side rather than use my rental car...

any advice?

You may walk over the Rainbow Bridge, if you like, but it is much easier and faster to drive it. You will still need your ID's and such, even when walking.
