  1. try to take Zyrtec... it is very good...

  2. Reishi Mushrooms.  You can buy them in liquid or pill form at most herbal stores.  Your liver and heart will thank you for not destoying them with the drugs offered by pharamcies and in the long run the mushrooms are more effective.  Take lots of vitamin C.  It may sound like an old wives tale, but you are safe in trying them and I have yet to meet someone who was not surprised by how well they work.

  3. taking loratadine a few weeks before the allergy season starts should improve its effect, it does for me. when the allergy hits (as medications don't help all the way, just make it easier), i take calcium supplements to ease the attacks (for me it is worst in the morning). i here homeopathy helps, but haven't tried that. you can also get some eye drops.

  4. if the normal over the counter med dont work, its time to hit the doctors office and get something stronger

what you buy over the counter freely is just the weakest medicine

polaramin 2 or 6 mg should help, the 2mg you take 2-3 times a day, the 6 mg is a depot tablet and you take it either just in the morning, or if you got very severe allergy also in the evening so you got medicine in your body while sleeping as well

the doctor will advice  you, if you dont need it nigth time (if you get 6mg) then you should avoid it

there also are nose sprays who contain medicine that you can use in combination with pills.

however if your allergy is bad then if you go on 6mg you wont be able to drive till your body have adjusted, if its just for 3 weeks you aint likely to adjust, hence you wont be legal to drive in all likelyhood, and you cant drink either

but yes there definantly are medicine stronger that can help you, just be aware that you have to be particular to get up and try to work out to figth of the drowsyness side effect, and you need to drink a lot + stimulate your saliva production with gum or candy

but all in al its better then beeing misserable
