Question:

How to I deal with racist family members and jealous friends?

I date all races of women, but the ones that I date are mostly white. My white friends say that I am getting the white girls they cant and whenever we drink, it all comes out. Nothing racist from them, they are really great guys. The problem lies with some of my family members. My aunt stunned me recently when she told me that I should break up with my Jewish girlfriend...white people are evil etc. And that I should stick to race, like I owe my race dating privileges. I am really close to severely weakening our 15 year bond and I really don't want to do it. What should I do?

  1. First of all, your family should accept your decisions in a date, no matter what race or religion she is. Just because you may be one race and she is another doesn't mean the two of you can't be together.

Tell your family how you feel. Sit them all down for a family meeting and let them know how this is affecting you and that you would like them to be more accepting towards your choices of girlfriends.
