How to I fix this pink dot on my TV?

On the top of my TV when it's blue at the top it turns into a few pink dots.

if it is an older TV the tube may be shot which would require the tube be replaced or the TV be replaced if it is a newer LCD or Plasma TV i have no advice

Not enough information. Is it a plasma or LCD? Regular TV?

How old is it?

If it's LCD it could be a burned out LCD. The screen is composed of thousands of Light Emitting diodes. When one goes bad it will show as a dead light on the screen.

If it's plasma it could be a problem with the gas, the gas does eventually go bad and if it's a regular TV there could be something wrong with the CRT (Cathode ray tube).
