I hate this new yahoo.  Sounds like no one is especially happy with it.   Maybe in this case, it's Johnny who is out of step and not the whole army.   Older people don't like change.  I am one of them.   The print is too small and I can't see a thing.   I even joined the yahoo answers business and now I can't even find out if anyone ever answered my question!!!

You can't. Yahoo obviously knows what we want, we just haven't realized it yet. Some of us are slow or just too dumb to know what's best, thankfully Yahoo is 100 steps ahead of us and knows exactly what we want. They know we're too stupid to make a choice, so there's no need to let you pick the old page.

the new yahoo sucks - but they don't care - i have used my yahoo for probably 10 years - i won't be after this - and i probably won't evenbe checking back in to see if they allow reversion back (though maybe i'll read about it sometime - though i doubt it as yahoo really doesn't care - and they don't care about shareholders either - that's why most of the best upper management left in the last 3 weeks - soon, yahoo may be a part of microsoft - guess i'll be making the switch to google very soon

You can't. But go give them feedback http://feedback.help.yahoo.com/feedback.... Maybe if enough do they will still ignore users that dobn't like it.

BTW I hate too slow it looks bad a horrible layout things don't even fit the page.

I had asked this same question and got the same answer that we simply can't.   SO...... I got bold and went and tried to personalize my new yahoo home page and everything has gone beserk!!   How do I get it BACK to where it was?  

I had first changed my TV shows from 2 hours to 3 hours primetime eastern time zone.   So now I have 3 hour time slots showing but only two of them have tv shows in them and they are in the central time zone.   I have refreshed, reset, reclicked, rechecked and nothing works.   To make matters worse I decided to try some colors and a different layout.   Not only did the layout NOT work but now I can't get it back to the old one and the newer layout that was closest to my old one with 1/3 on the left and 2/3 on the right now has 1/2 down the middle no matter how many times I tried to reset, recheck, etc. etc.   I also want my old colors back which I had day before yesterday (even after the change) but once I tried fiddling with it now I fear those colors are gone forever so they are no longer one of the *choices*

I have a couple of Yahoo accounts because I have some Groups and I made myself a moderator with another Yahoo ID in case I ever had problems with the first ID.   I have gone to each My Yahoo and tried to do various things and no matter what I do I can't get any two to look alike or act alike.  

So now I have to sign in with one ID to see the TV shows, another ID to see my Health news and yet a third to see the Yahoo groups that I managed to get added to one but not any of the others.

SCREEEEEEEECH!    I am 60 but I am not stupid.   This whole IMPROVED My Yahoo has me pulling my hair out and there are far too many glitches for them to NOT reconsider giving us back our OLD Yahoo pages.   I would be willing to bet that the majority of us continued to KEEP our old My Yahoo pages time and time again during the testing phase and yet we were ignored.

While I appreciate that Yahoo is after all free and I have appreciated being able to use My Groups here for many many MANY years - all the way back to Clubs - this is just all beyond my comprehension.   RAZZLEFRAGGIT!!   You can teach an old dog new tricks but the tricks have to make *sense* and the program has to have the ability to recognize what we are telling it.   Nothing hard about 3 hours primetime in eastern time zone so why can't I get it??   And WHY can't I get the original page back that doesn't have 1/2 on the left and 1/2 on the right?   None of the options even show that.   GROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAN!

I'll bet Yahoo is overrun with complaints!  :-(

I do not like the new format at all.  I can't print the items on my front page that I want printed.  Nothing prints past the first two pages.  It's difficult to navigate and remember all the instructions.  I just want the old back!

You can't get the old one back.There have been a lot of changes some good some not so good. Yahoo more or less says we are stuck with it. There have been so many complaints on this you would think yahoo would listen.  Hope this helps!!!

Maybe I am simple but I like what I like and that's all there is to it. =)

It looks as if it can't be changed back. That's it for me. I will stop using Yahoo for anything but mail.
