  1. Log in to the Yahoo Groups web site.  Then go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups .  Towards the upper-middle of the resulting page, you'll probably see the message You Have A Bouncing Email Address with a link immed. below it saying Go To My Email Preferences.  If so, click on this link.  In the table on the next page, it will clearly show which of your e-mail addresses is bouncing.  For this address, click the Unbounce link just below the red Bouncing text.  Then follow the directions on the resulting page.

EDIT : Okay, so there is no bounce message on your My Groups page.  Time to take care of the other possibilities.

First, log in to this FreeCycle Group's home page on the web.  Then click the Edit Membership link near the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Then scroll down to Step 2 Message Delivery.  If your setting in this section is not on Individual Emails, then change it to Individual Emails.  If you make a change on this page, click the Save Changes button towards the lower-right-hand corner when you're done.

If the default setting was already Individual Emails when you first got to the Edit Membership page, then there is some other problem that Yahoo Groups staff needs to fix.  If this is the case, then contact Yahoo Groups Customer Care by filling out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .

  2. Why does it say my account is "bouncing"? How can I stop bouncing?

Reactivating your account will NOT immediately restore email delivery. The change in your status still needs to be propagated to all your groups. Usually, this happens within hours, but there may be occasions (particularly if you’re in a group with more than 75 members) when it may take a day or more.
