How to I install cork board?

Question

I want to buy some cork board so I can start pinning up some of my daughters art work, certificates of excellence and etc. How do i put up the cork board?

Do i secure it to the wall some how?

Do i buy a piece of plywood and apply the cork board to that? If so how?

You've already got a start. I would not secure directly to the wall, but to a piece of wood, masonite, even foam core.
