How to I preserve the battery life of my new Macbook?

  1. the more of the time you have it plugged in the better, bring carriagle ones, im sure you could find them, ALWAYS HAVE IT CHARGING!


  2. Click the battery icon in the top right hand corner, click it and select better battery life. It will preserve as much energy as it can.

  3. only charge it once the battery is empty

  4. Replacement batteries on macbooks are going to be really expensive.

    Try draining the battery completely without the adapter plugged in.

    Actually let it die, if you can. It may force itself into sleep mode but shake it out repeatedly.

    Then turn it off and charge it to full.

  5. Don't over charge your laptop when the battery is fully charged unplug it.
