Ok, I've been eating this smooth organic tofu that's beautifully smooth and fragrant (It's made of soy beans only). However, the packing is such that the it fills the container like how jelly fills a mould if u get wat i mean..not like a chunk in water like other tofus..and I can't remove it without it breaking! Any tricks?

  1. Run a sharp paring knife under hot water and run it around the outside edge of the tofu....then put a plate over the top of the tofu and turn it over holding the plate tight on the tofu it should slip right out.....

  2. Open the package, move a knife around the sides, put a flat plate upside down over the package, now grip both the package and plate together with your thumbs underneith and flip it over quickly.

  3. Scissors with very thin blades are your best bet.  Puncture the box, preferibly in the middle, slip one of the blades in and cut all around, then pull both halfs out.

  4. I have problems with this too!!!

I just slice it in the middle and pull out the flaps, and then cut them to pieces in the box.

Then flip them out either in soup or on the pans :)

  5. slide ur knife around the pack.....on the top..  then turn it on a plain surface...... cut it ... and slide it with a knife...

  6. Buy yourself one of those carpenters knifes with disposable blades, they are great for cutting away the box. Be careful since these knifes are rezer sharp.

  7. slice the container & slide the entire contents out.
