I was reading the news on-line and saw an article about the steady ruin of Pompeii, Italy. I recently went there and have several photos that I think would be suited for the article. How do I go about submitting them?

  1. If there is a contact for their editorial or web publishing department, call them and ask if they would be interested. Yes, you could just e-mail, but you want to get credit for the photos and confirm you are sending them. Either way, look for the site's contact info and touch base with someone about using your photos. If there's no phone number, send them an e-mail asking if they would be interested - again, do not send them unless it is confirmed that they will use them ect. because you don't want to see your photos on the site and say "hey, they never said they were using my pictures!!!" - and you never know, maybe they'll give you some money for them!
