  1. Are you nuts?

  2. When you leave your country it is called emmigration.

  3. Make sure you have loads of money if you get sick because even with health insurance it cost up the butt.  I have health insurance with a good company and it cost us $250 every two weeks on top of that we have to pay $30-$40 co pay everytime we see a doc and also have to pay for the medication and don't even think about having to have surgery.  They say the grass is always greener.  It's not here.  My husband moved over here to be with me from England, hasn't even been here a year and is ready to go back.  He's been having horrible tooth pain and can not see a dentist because it's going to cost so much money.

  4. Generally to get a visa to come here and work you need to be a University graduate. Insurance here is regulated so that you can't work in the field without certification. (this country has certificates for everything) You may not qualify to work in your field even if you could get here. You best chance might be to find work at home with a company that has offices in the USA. That way you have a chance of getting a transfer.

  5. the US is no rose garden my friend.

You can only survive here if you work your buttocks off.

This is not a country for slackers.

  6. The best way is to do it legally.

  7. The ways for an individual to come to the US to reside and work are:

    1) Marriage to a US citizen and subsequent adjustment of status (K class Visa)

    2) Sponsorship by an immediate relative who is a US citizen (IR/CR visa)

    3) Sponsorship by an immediate relative who is a Lawful Permanent Resident (IR/CR visa)

    4) Internal company transfer from the UK to the US (L1 dual intent visa)

    5) Participate and be selected in the Diversity Visa Lottery

    6) You own or buy business as a national of a qualifying Treaty country (E2 visa)

    7) An investor with at least $1million in assets (EB5 visa)

    8) Assist US law enforcement to investigate and prosecute crimes and terrorist activities such as money laundering and organized crime. (S visa)

    9) Get a member of Congress to sponsor a private bill with legislation that applies just to you.

Those are also listed in the order of how likely they are to happen.
