  1. That always happends to me and many people. It just ur dead skin cells on it. The only thing you can do is just clean it after every time you play, buy skins or gribs for it or just wear gloves.(lol).

  2. Order free Wii remote jackets from Nintendo's Website! their free and protect your Wii Remotes and they keep your remotes clean! I have one and they are actually preety comfortable!

  3. well it may be  a skid mark, or a sweat mark(sweat can wash away dead skin and other material and it can get on anything you touch)

    or even HEAT marks...yes..heat.

Heat marks are caused by a chemical lying on something that never show until activated or stimulated, in this case, ur body heat.

Its like burning paper, once its finished(and cooled off!!!)the black dust and powder will rub off the paper and get on you.........so their may be a type of chemical(from cleaning solutions, maybe? it may also be your sweat chemicals, too.)on the remote that reveals a black mark(hopefully washable)that is caused by heat or sweat.

    And one more thing, FRICTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friction may rub off something and put it on the remote, and it creates HEAT!!!!!

  4. That happens to me too.

Also, I get a black filth on the little crevace on the sides of the remote.

AND I get it in the crack in the gamecube controller. It is a pain.

What I do is sit with a trash can between your legs, tak a toothpick and just stick it in the parts that have filth.

It amazes me how all the filth on my hands collects on the remote.

This is the best way though, trust me. It also works on the 1, 2, and home buttons.

  5. dust already on the Controller. and btw, do you smoke? that might also be the reason

  6. I honestly don't know how that could possibly happen.  Does it come off?  It could actually be a skid mark.  Do you get that into driving by pressing the 2 button, lol?  If that's the case there is this really good stuff that our family uses called Goo Gone (or something like that) and if you put a tiny bit on a paper towel you can rub it right off.  As for preventing it, I really don't know.  If you're washing your hands well and stuff, I couldn't tell you.  It could also be dead skin as well.  If it comes off I wouldn't worry about it too much.

    (Edit)

Ah ha!  I think I've found the solution!  This happens to my friend all the time, and I'm pretty sure I know why.  Chances are the air in your house is very moist and humid.  The stuff you're getting on the Wiimote is actually mold of some kind.  Now there's two ways to get rid of it, one is to simply scrape it out or use that Goo-Gone stuff I told you about.  The other, is using a dehumidifier.  A dehumidifier takes all of the water out of the air.  It's amazing how much water it collects at the end of the day.  If your family has one lying around use it and see if you notice any difference.  However, if you don't have one don't buy one, because I could be wrong, although I'm pretty sure that's why it is happening.

Good luck with keeping the remotes clean, I know it would drive me nuts if I had to keep cleaning mine.  I hope I helped you out!
