How to Keep my L-Arginine tablets from Crumbling in the bottle?

I've kept the bottle tightly closed, used the oxygen absorber packets (the one in the original bottle and others from other meds), yet they keep crumbling to powder.

  1. Do you mean L-Arginine or L-Carnitine? That's very common for L-Carnitine (because they are sensitive to oxidation and moisture and naturally don't hold together very well) and I've never seen L-Arginine in a tablet before.

With that being said, if you don't like the tablets crumbling, my best suggestion would be to buy capsules instead. Even the little bit of oxygen and moisture when you open the bottle is enough to degrade the tablets over the course of a few weeks, so the only way to avoid it is to go around it. Good luck!

  2. Make sure they are store in a cool, dry place. They could be getting humidity inside if placed too close to a heat source (like stove if in a kitchen cabinet - or even being in a bathroom med. cabinet) Also make sure you don't store where they can get sunlight because that too can raise the temp of the air inside the bottle and cause humidity.
