How to Kirikaeshi in kendo?

in kirikaeshi, my concern is the kiai, when I do it I say men repeatedly but other people sing men in a long pause even the teacher, but I heard its not correct which is correct?

As far as I am aware, there is actually no correct/incorrect way for kiai in that manner.   Kirikaeshi is a solid foundation exercise that practices all of the important aspects in Kendo with footwork, cuts, kihon cuts, fumikomi and kiai.  Different people will have different styles of kiai.  I tend to warm up on the first set (because we do multiple sets as we rotate through our people) using single kiai/cut (Men, Men, Men, Men etc) but then once I get warmed up, to warm up my voice and kiai more, I will do it in two kiai, one going with the four cuts fowards, then another with the five cuts backwards.

    I think if you are really concerned, you should consult your sensei and ask him what they prefer you to do in your training.  If, as you says, even your sensei does the long kiai, then he will probably not mind which one you do.
