I am a U.S. citizen. My background is in Finance and my Spanish is awful. Nevertheless, I am deadset on living in Madrid for a year or two. How can I get a job there?

Thanks!

  1. It won't be easy as a foreigner to get a job. I had to marry my husband (who is American) in order for him to get a job here and be able to stay.

They wouldn't take him without residency papers, and believe me he had a really good background as an engineer in the airplane industry. He had to start reaching English, because they wouldn't hire him.

A summer job, yes, probably easy to get if you look around the Internet.

Check out this page maybe you find something:

    I wish you good luck!

And sorry I can't help you more.
