Hi

I have a kit to mix up Henna to draw onto the skin. But I don't know what I'm doing! There's henna oil, henna powder and a henna cone, but I can't get it to work so that the drawing stays on my skin. Can anyone advise me please? Thanks

  1. I get great kits here with fabulous instructions and it always works very well. Maybe you should buy from here.

if you got a kit from a chain store they are usually old, stale, and don't work very well.

get fresh safe natural henna and have fun.

  2. Hiya! Mixing up henna could not be any easier, its the putting on that is the difficult part! What you have to do is first of all empty all the henna powder into a mixing bowl of some sort (one you don't mind getting destroyed) and then adding water to it not too much maybe like half a cup full and stirring it to a good consistency. Once you feel the henna is ready to be used as a paste (it should look kinda gooey but not too thick) you can add the henna into the cone so it is easy for you to apply onto your skin. After applying the henna on to your skin, keep it on as long as you can and rinse of with luke warm water. Dry your hands with a towel of some sort and then apply the henna oil for brighter and darker results. (Note: Some times instead of adding water to the henna powder the oil could be used instead, check the directions part of the leaflet that should come with it) Hope this helps and have fun making patterns on your palms, feet or where ever you wish to apply it!
