  1. Oregon has a system that's even more confusing than most states (and that's saying soething, believe me!)

As near as I can tell, you can get a copy of your birth certificate  from the Vital Records people by ordering via mail, phone, or through an online service.  The order form doesn't specify a photo ID (I think). In any case, go to this website.

    http://oregon.gov/DHS/ph/chs/index.shtml

Yu can download an order form (PDF format).  They've also got an information phone number somewhere on the site--but I know its also on the order form.

States all have soe alternative means of establishing your identity, so don't worry about that--you just have to dig it up .  If you are under a deadline, get busy right away, though. This can take awhile.

    Good luck

  2. Call the Recorder of Deeds office, in the town where you were born and see if they will issue a duplicate BC.  I had this happen too.  Usually you have to fill out a form and mail it back in.

  3. If your mother or father is still alive, she can get a copy for you. If not, THIS is the problem with real ID programs. I have no idea how to help.
