  1. Invite people.  Offer food, alcohol, music and something that can be blown up with party favor fireworks.  Strategically place trash cans and cover the couch in plastic.  Put the kegs outside at the top of a downward slope.  Don't skimp on the ice or the kegs.  Make sure your keg taps work.  Have lots of music looped so there is no constant changing of cds.  Hide the '86 Bordeaux, the Remy Martin King Louis XIII and the Cohibas.  Don't trim the hedges to create a greater sound barrier between you and your neighbors and be sure to have a hidden location for all of the pot heads.  If this is for college graduation, please do not hide the '86 Bordeaux, King Louis or the Cohibas, and substitute the exploding party favors with job offers.  Thank you.

  2. graduate first

  3. Depending on who is graduating...

    1)  Invite friends & family who know the person.

    2)  Make some party favors for all the guests..you can print out 'scrolls' w/ the date & name, any honors they received, etc.  Tie them up w/ ribbons in the School's colors.

    3)  Finger foods are always the best.  Veggie platters, fruit bowls, Cold Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Olives & Pickles, a bowl of mixed Nuts.

    4)  Keep the "hard liquor" hidden.  If people want it, they will probably ask or you can tell them to bring their own. Have soda avaiable for those don't drink alcohol + coffee and tea for later on.

    5)  If you're not sure if someone will be able to drive later on, take their car keys and at a last resort- their shoes!  It works!

    6)  HAVE FUN!!!!!

  4. hire a party planner
