  1. http://www.rugrag.com/stain-removal/Fing...

use this, it's been voted by a lot of other users as working well

  2. Nail polish remover.  How obvious is that??

  3. It really depends how thick the nail polish is. If it is very thin and very light you maybe able to remove it yourself with products like goo gone and goof off. Rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover may work as well. However if you go that route the carpet should be throughly rinsed with water and extracted with a carpet cleaning machine. Those products can cause damage to the fibers and cause the carpet backing to separate unless rinsed.

It is pretty difficult to remove - even for professionals with products made to remove nail polish.

I'd be willing to bet you will not be able to remove it safely and successfully without the assistance of a professional.

I'd find someone who uses Pros Choice cleaning products. Their pro-solve gel and power gel usually will get the job done

Carpet is sensitive and can be damaged easily by many consumer products including oxiclean and resolve.

  4. My mom always used Grease Lightning. It takes out anything.

Jusy watch out with it. It can make your skin on your hands feel like sandpaper.

  5. acetone free polish remover, for starters.if it clumpy when it dries do it again. then if theres still color in it, put a damp towel over it and iron it with med hot iron. do a small bit a t a time it might take all the color out. whats worse semi white or purple. ??? hope this helps.
