How would i get a on street handicapped parking spot removed in Pittsburgh? I assume it was placed there for an elderly woman who used to live next door. She has since died and now that spot goes unused. In this area, it is mostly college students and it is difficult to find a parking spot if not impossible past 4pm. Any ideas?

  1. couple wrenches. paint stripper

unbolt the street sign take the sign post down, then if the curb is painted blue strip the paint off, all while avoiding detection/arrest

    option b is:

    complain to the city

  2. you might talk to someone on the city council or go to one of their meetings, thats what people in my area do if they have concerns about speed limits in their neighborhood or something like that.

  3. If your willing to risk a ticket try this out.....Since it's so hard to get a space, and no one uses that spot, maybe the cops won't ticket you if you park there since no one will complain your parking there. That way you've always got a spot!

Of course, you run the risk of someone complaining because they're jealous you thought of it first.
