How to Remove Raccoon Smell in the Big Garage?

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me how to remove Raccoon Smell in the Garage? It is relative big garage and it was in the close door for the last few years and Raccoon was making a lot of mess and poo... It was clean now but the ordor still there and we suspect that they went to the woods in the attic of the Garage and the wall.

When we "air dry" the garage. ( It has four windows), it went away a little bit but inside the Garage, the smell still very strong.

Any traditional way? besides calling SWAT team to use bio microism to clean? or just too hopeless?

I know it's not something that it's gonna banish the smell for ever, but you can try spraying LYSOL (the yellow one) there, like 3 -4 times per day. http://www.firstaidmonster.com/images/pr...

It helped me when I moved to this house where I am living now. There was a dead racoon in the garage and that awfull odor was there since 1 year before.

Well you could try washing the floor with vinegar and  rinsing it with the cold water hose.  Buy several big boxes of Arm and Hammer baking soda and leave them open in the garage, this will help  eliminate the odour, but it will take time.

Another thing you can do is sprinkle baby powder on the floor of the garage then sweep it up, some of the fresh scent of baby powder will remain in the garage.
