I have a RCA big screen TV and was playing WII Sports and had on the bat extension made by DreamGear and the bat flew off of my remote and broke the TV screen protector. Can someone please tell me how to take the screen protector off and where to get a new one? I found one for $200, but wanted to know if there is a cheaper place. I also found one on Ebay, but it wasn't the same model, but a 52 inch screen. Would that one work. Someone please help!!! Also, don't ever use the DREAM GET SPORTS KIT FOR YOUR WII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. You did not say what size your TV is.

I have the same issue on a 60" and to be honest $200 is not bad as the lowest-cost I could find was $346 plus installation, plus shipping.

The changing out is not hard at all.  There should be a border piece that pops off (with a little bit of difficulty).

Lastly, I have read that plexiglass works just as fine, but have never actually seen this, and besides, with the cost of plexiglass it may even be more than the $200 you were quoted.

To get a better idea though, just call some local TV Repair shops in your area and get quotes.  this would be the best way to actually gauge costs.  Make sure they warranty too.

    Best of Luck.
