How to Start Up an Aerospace Company?

i'm 20 years old and im not sure about what to do careerwise.

i have lots of designs of different kinds of aircraft with calculations of drag, thrust and other specifications in a book and one of my physics teachers at college said that i should start up an aerospace company, i really like that idea but i dont know how to go about starting a company up especially one which will need a lot of money invested in it.

so what i want to know is if its possible for a young person to start up an aerospace company and if not what courses can i take to get started in this area

One course is to get your BS in physics/aeronautics, an MS is Business, then develop a business plan and shop it around.

Another route is to get the BS, then a few years of experience at an Aerospace company while you take your MS at night.

If you try for it now, you will have difficulty getting backers to listing to you, with no degrees and no experiencec.

Major in Aeronautics, seek out the aerospace companies that you can work at as part of their summer internship programs (Note: there is going to be a lot of competition!). This will get you off to a good start, then you can start to worry about Business degrees and capitalization, etc.

Yes, 6 years to get a degree. That is NOT a long time.

Unless you have built and tested your design ideas in order to prove to someone that they work, I doubt if you'll be able to get a business loan to even start your company.

Eem my thought is similar to the one above, try getting a degree is Physics, that should help you a lot. start by working in a similar company and then, you will have experience on what to do/not do when opening a company.
