Ok, everyone always complains about heat etc. But my problem is my back itches insanely and it's driving me insane. I've tried aloe vera, soaking in the tub, and some lotion.

Please help me, I haven't been able to sleep because of the itch!

  1. vinegar

also, use some lotion with aloe in it.

  2. Aloe vera it helps a lot it stings a little bit when u put it on though.

  3. Try sprinkling baby powder in your sheets. It sounds weird, but it helps to stop the sheet irriation to your sunburned body when you sleep. You might also have someone rub some calamine lotion (or hydrocortisone cream) on your back to help with the itch. Take a benadryl as well.

  4. I don't know that this is true or not but I have heard if you are sun burnt to take a Tea Bag over the area and it will help relieve it or something. Good Luck!

  5. use sunscreen lotion.

  6. If you are sloughing off the skin from the burn, best and easiest way is to use a body scrub with bits or a rough bath mitt.  Then you do well to get a nice moisturizer on you.  If you need immediate relieve, try a handful of oatmeal- yeah the breakfast stuff - in a tub of cool water.  Mix some of that into a paste and get somebody to scrub down your back with it.  Rinse that off well, slather on the lotion, and you should feel better.  The sooner the dead stuff is off, the less you will itch.

  7. aloe vera its the best for this (or i have heard nautral live yoghout)

or wring out some towels in cold water and lay them on your back ------ sunburn bliss.

or the old fav calomaine lotion.
