How to Unlock Passcode on Ipod touch

Question

I was at a party and while i was drunk i entered a passcode and forgot the passcode i put on the phone !

When you first touch the ipod a disabled screen pops up to prevent you from entering the main screen on the display screen.

How can i disable this I pod touch passcode for personal use !

I already downloaded the proper software for the traditional usage;goin thru the device selection and changing the configuartion and reseting the current settings. Did not work, it said the ipod touch is locked !

Can anyone firgue out what i can do to alleveiate this probelm please thank you !
