  1. a tip for the internet cafes however, you'll probably need to give the cafe your passport as collateral while you're in the cafe.

    a lot of hotels have free internet enabled computers for patron use too, just ask at the desk!

  2. There would be 2 easy ways to access the internet:

    1) Book a hotel that has wireless internet access.  Note that the hotel may charge a daily surcharge for the wireless access and these hotels may be slightly more expensive than others that don't have wireless access.  You don't see that many free wireless hotspots in Italy like we do in the U.S. because of some Italian anti-terrorism law.

    2) Easier option... Use the internet at one of dozens of internet cafes you'll see throughout Rome.  There seems to be one on every street corner, especially near Termini station.  They usually are very cheap - €1 to €2 per hour - and they usually have webcams & headsets so you can use Skype/Yahoo Messenger to make cheap phone calls back home.  This way you can leave your laptop at home and not have to carry any extra weight around with you in those hot Roman summer days...

    Good luck!

  3. Stay away from Termini Station if you can................it's not a safe place.....there is this park name VILLA BORGHESE that's free wireless

    Here a usefull web site ;
