How to act at a book opening?

I'm supposed to be going to this book opening, (for the Twilight serious, no doubt), and I've never been to a book opening before.

I was invited by a bunch of friends and I'm excited to go - but I don't know how to act at a book opening!

What do I do? Do I jump up and down? Act all excited? Anyone ever been to one? What do you do there? What the heck is it?

Oh wow!

  1. Don't jump around but do act as if your interested in reading the content of the book. If you get the oppurtunity ask questions about the authors ideas and thoughts when writing the book. Be courteous and kind to others with opinions and views. Were flats nothing that might hurt after awhile you might be their for a long while depending on the popularity of the book. But have fun and remember that the people around you are just as eager about the book so you'll share something in common. You might meet some new friends.

  2. Just wear something nice and behave politely.  Look around and see how everyone else is acting.  You'll catch on.  No need for jumping up and down, squealing, giggling, screaming, fainting or similar dramatics.  Just be a normal person.

  3. Try to appear interested and try to find out the name of the book.
