  1. incomplete question... what brand wireless router do you have?

It would depend on the router some you need to open up internet explorer and enter in the address bar 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or ... you get the picture???

then you need to go to the wireless security part on your router and choose WPA-PSK personal with tkip and enter your password ( alpha numeric ) minimum of 6-8 characters depending on the router.

  2. You will need to go to START>RUN then type in cmd. Next type in ipconfig. Take the default gateway and type in into the address bar. Mine is 192.168.0.1. Then you will need the default password for your wireless router. This can be found through a simple search on the internet or in the manual. Next find something that says security. You will find different types of security such as WEP and AES. Choose one of these follow the instructions for the type of password needed apply the settings and your all done.
