Hi, I haven't done it with yahoo, but I have with YouTube.

YouTube videos must be shorter than 10 mins long.  

When you save your video on your pc, make sure it is a format that can be viewed online - edit it with the free windows moviemaker software on your pc.  save as (say) .wmv file which YouTube can read.

Remember where in your Documents folder you saved it.  Make a YouTube or Yahoo folder.  Log in to your YouTube account and click the upload button.  You have to browse your Documents folder to find the file to upload.  If you have it in a YouTube folder, double-click the folder icon, find the file, select it and click UPLOAD.  

It will take several minutes to upload, depending on your connection type.  

Then YouTube has to convert the video to work in its system so your video won't be available online for several minutes.

Check after 15/20 minutes to see if the video is there.

more than likely, the file itself will be too large than what yahoo allows for an upload, which is 5mb.
