How to add more entries to US visitor visa?

I have a 2 entry US visitor visa. I just realized that on my second visit I will need to make a quick stop in Mexico (during the visit, not on the way to or from). Is there any way I can add an entry while I am in the US? Do I have to reapply for a totally new visa? What can I do?

yes, you would need to apply for a new visa. once you enter the US the second time, your visa automatically then becomes null and void. and you cannot apply for a new visa while in the US. you can apply for an extension... but that won't be your case since you are exiting the country.

also, tourist visas are issued in the country where you are residing... so you would need to take care of this issue before you leave your own country.
