How to add more than 1 ipod to itunes?

I have 2 computers in my house and I am getting rid of the one that has itunes for my ipod on it. The other computer has my boyfriend's itunes. How can I add my ipod to his itunes without effecting any of his songs and without losing songs I have on my ipod?

  1. I can give you my simple answer, but depending on whether you bought music downloads that might be "locked" to you computer you are getting rid of, I can't help with.

    1) Turn of the "automatically sync iPod to Library" (worded something like that on your boyfriends iTunes computer.

    We have 3 iPods in my house, each iPod that connects to iTunes will allow you to drag&drop music from the iTunes library onto whichever iPod is connected to it. It is simple to do then.

    I assume your music from your PC is already on his? if not, use a flash-drive/thumb-drive (usb disk drive) to copy from your computer to his, and then use File, Add folder to library, to add the artists/music you just copied to his machine, until you do that, iTunes won't recognize the new music files you copied to his computer.
