How to add music to a powerpoint?

Question

I'm doing a powerpoint on my laptop of pictures while we were on vacation but i want a song going through the entire presentation. I already know that you have to do it in an mp3 format but i don't have an mp3 or an ipod. So is it possible for me to put in music without an mp3 or ipod

if so tell me how? BTW i was wondering if you could get the music from Youtube and put it on my presentation?

u should do the presentation in ms movie maker its much easier and u can add effects. on moviemaker to add a song u need to go to file then import mp3 file then dragg it into the music timeline at the bottom
