I want to listen to my music on my patio and inside my home at the same time.

You don't.

A "Home Theater in a Box" as they are called are not expandable.

You are better off just getting a basic receiver and a pair of speaker for you patio if you want to go the cheap rout.

Otherwise you would have to replace everything to achieve "second zone" capabilities. (to do it right)
