How to address the dog's immune system?

how do you make the dog's immune system stronger?

the dog has demo mange. i hear it is an immune system problem. i'd like to address the underlying immune system issue without trying to treat symptoms of the issue by drowning him in medicines that can further polute his immune system.

-feed a good food without fillers like wheat and corn

-feed him vitamin c to boost the immune system

-garlic will also help

-keeping him stress free too

the best thing you can do for your pups immune system is feed them high quality puppy food,  As far as demodex is concerned- they need meds to get rid of these mites.  Demodex can become very serious- I have seen dogs suffer from anemia and skin infections due to this mite.

This should help some, the truth is depending on the severity of the problem you might have to do so to get results.  Without treatment it just gets worse.  There are flea control products that will also kill the mites once under control
