  1. does your sister-in-law know about this master-plan???

  2. Actually, if you are an American or other foreigner it would be impossible for you to adopt a Chinese child that you are related to unless some EXTREME odds were met-you would have to be approved to adopt a child from China (not this child), that child would have to be available for adoption and on a waiting list, and you would have to identify the child before anyone else did.  Even if that were to happen, I believe it would be illegal as China restricts such adoptions of relatives.

No, it would not be easier and yes, it would cost a lot.

Now, you can adopt from China and if your wife is of Chinese descent you could get an expedited adoption.  That means that the process would take a little less time than the average 3 years or so it is taking now.

To adopt from China, you would both have to be atleast 30 years of age, in good health, make atleast $30,000 a year if you have no children in the home or an additional $10,000 a year for each child that is in the home but you can not have any more than four and still adopt.  You have to have a clear criminal background, stable income...it goes on and on.  You have to meet the requirements of both the United States, China AND immigration to adopt internationally.

    Hope this helps!

  3. I want to adopt as well, the best thing is to do talk to an adoption Agency, they well help you with all the legal things such as paper work, court dates, certifications ect...

It a long process it make take up to one year or longer.

Best of Luck to you :)

  4. It won't cost you 30,000.00...........hmmm i wonder why.
