How to adopt?

Hello.. i was wondering if anybody new anyplace (website) to look at to adopt children? please leave comments! thanks!

That's like asking.. "How do I cook"

There are dozens of answers depending on how you want to adopt, or what kind of child you want to adopt.

Baby? Toddler? Older?

Domestic? International?

Caucasian? African-American? Other? Mix?

Healthy? Downs? Special Needs?

(Some of these are tough questions, and some of them you'll have to do research to know your answers.)

There's plenty of valuable info on the web for adoptions. In the state of Texas, the Texas Dept. of Family & Protective Services offers tons of adoption materials, even links to websites with photos of children waiting for adoption. Depending on where you live your state may have a similar program to offer. Below is the link to adoption info on the TDFPS website. Good luck!
