How to advertise housecleaning services?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my house cleaning business up and running. I have posted on ad on Craigslist and I have gotten a lot of calls but I want to get busier.

Any suggestions?

You might check to see if the grocery stores in your area have a bulletin board where you can post a flier.  

Another possibility is if you have a small weekly "shopper" type paper, place a business card size ad in there.  

Do not place fliers under windshield wiper blades in parking lots.  I make it a point to NOT patronize companies that do that, ever since I had one of them damage a wiper so bad I had to replace the entire wiper arm.

US free ads is a good one too. Ebay also has classified ads now for $9.95/30 days.
