How to advertise my website for !!FREE!!?

i have a website that i created on microsoft live: small bussiness and its for my comic book hero i created, i need to know how to advertise the website, or advertise my hero with a link to my site, is there any way to do this for free??? preferibly on a popular website.

Write articles on Squidoo or Hubpages

Don't spam it.. Make sure you are talking in different forums about your comic book and other comic books.  Forums often allow you to have a signature link, linking back to your site.

post links on different comic blogs linking back to your site.

I would put postings all over craigslist.org with catchy titles.  Have a link to your site in the ad.

You can advertise it at social media likes myspace or facebook.You can advertise for free at this website too.

Just spam it all over YouTube, MySpace, FaceBook...it's annoying but its one way to get noticed. Or make flyers and pass them out/put them everywhere...however that's not free but its stil sometihng to consider.

Blogging and alowing comments too.

I do NOT recommend spam.  Do you want people to take your business / website seriously?  Are you selling something?

I advertise exclusively for free:

Find comic book fan forums and include a link to you site in your post signatures.

Article marketing (just google it - you'll get tons of info)

Start a blog and submit the RSS feed to directories.
