I'm good at putting it on the bottom lid. But the top looks better on me I have to have a friend do it for me. What is the best way to put the eyeliner on the top lid. And I don't want to get liquid eyeliner either.

  1. Sorry, but pencil eyeliner is no good for the top lid...

  2. Use something that's skinny that you can press on the top lid. I use my hair chopstick. Then it will be fairly easy to apply the pencil to the top lid.

  3. dont use a pencil eyeliner if ur gonna do it urself use this one. cuz if you use pencil by urself it will hurt like h**l and you may hut ur eye.

this is the way to go. this is what i use and it looks great on the top &+ it duznt hurt.

now to use it u close ur eye, and u jus draw a line on the lining of the top lid. it will work of great if you do it right!

    =]

  4. Close your eyes , and draw a thin line at the part close to you eyelashes.

  5. Well, pencil eyeliner isn't always the best to put on your lids. I use liquid eyeliner.

But if you're using pencils, pull your eyelid to the side so that its smooth and not wrinkled so you can get a straight line. Then with your pencil, starting from the tear duct side of the eye, sweep across your pencil all the way to the end. Then it keeps it from looking jagged or uneven.

  6. To get the best line on your eyelid, start at the inner corner of your top lashline at make quick strokes outward to the middle of the lashline. Then start at the outer corner and make a few quick strokes inward to connect the line. And the whole time you are doing this use your free hand to pull the whole eyelid outward and keep it taut. and the hand you have the liner in, keep the palm rested on your cheek where ever it is comfortable to keep your hand from shaking and ruining the line.

Hope my explaining made sense. haha =]

Also if you want a thin line you are going to have to sharpen it after each eye. But if you want a thicker line then sharpen it and run it on your hand to make a even thick tip to use.

  7. i have a trick....u get an angel brush and black eye shadow and u close ur eye and near the eyelashes u put the eye shadow with the angel brush and it looks like u have eyeliner on

  8. Pencil stretches your eyelid and can give it pre-mature wrinkles.

The area around your eyes is very soft, fragile and delicate.

    Be careful!

So use liquid. its easy. give it a try.

  9. yeah, im no good at the top lid either. when i do pencil myself, it often looks thick, or i miss spots, or it just looks messy in whole. but here's a video on how to do the top.

  10. try using an angled eyeliner brush, wetting the brush, and swiping it across a black or brown shadow and using it as eyeliner. this gives you more control. then run the brush over the same shadow dry and set the liner to make it last longer

  11. pencil eyeliner doesnt work good for the top lid if you want it to come out good you have to use a liquid eyeliner

  12. one thing alot of girls do is "tight lining" i dont know if you have tried it but you look up, pull your lid up and line "under the eye lid"

the line should be under the lashes

hope it helped (i probably described it differently..lol)
