A pakistani woman lives in Saudi Arabia.

She wants to get out of the country and doesnt want to go back to pakistan.

How can she apply for Hardship.

Many of my american friends have told me about it but they dont quite understand the procedure and requirements.

What are the benefits?

Do u apply for hardship from the place you want to get out of or you find ways to fly to the States and then apply?

  1. There is no such program in the US, otherwise half the planet will be arriving.  She will not be allowed into the US.  In fact, without a visa, she will not be allowed on to the plane across.

  2. The Pakistani woman and "many of your American friends" need to realize that there are millions of natural born United State Citizens also facing hardship.  I being one of them.  I do not ask for any benefits, I do without the things I don't absolutely need.  This woman actually wants to come to the states so we can take care of her, or at least our tax dollars, which we all pay.   Does she want us to pay her way here too?

  3. Why doesn't she go to the United Nations instead.  They might be able to do something for her.

But to move here would be very ugly for her.  She needs to move to a society that is similar to her own.. where she can work.. where she won't be a welfare burden for the rest of her life.  India for example.  Perhaps another middle eastern country.

  4. Well, hardship alone isn't really a qualification for any sort of visa to the US or for refugee or asylum status for that matter. Immigrant visas are based primarily on close family relationships. So, I'm not quite sure what your American friends are thinking of. Aside from the fact she doesn't want to live in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, are there any reasons why she can't live in those 2 countries?
