my boyfriend is 18 is heold enough to apply for it? what does he have to do?

he is old enough but who does he live with, What state do you live in . In My state if your on your own and you have no children than medicaid is hard to get in order to get medicaid it is like if you do not work then you will get it this is for the males it is harder for a Male to get medicaid the best thing for you boyfriend to do is get a job and get on a real health insurance plan. go to your local DHS or the local website & just follow prompts.. in louisiana i did all application, paperwork, everything to get my son on it by internet... now for food stamps & had to go in for appt.--- but i did have to mail in documentation(like birth cert & stuff) to them before they mailed the card out
