  1. Use a large powder blush, not a puff and apply it lightly over your face.

Get MACs Fix +, it takes away the powdery cakey look.

  2. I think you are applying way too much powder. Use a large brush and just sweep it VERY lightly over your face. Also don't add water to your foundation it will make stick like paste!

  3. Honestly. I don't think that its the way you are applying it - I think its the make up. NYC tends to leave people's faces looking a little spotchy and uneven. Try Maybelline Mineral Power powder foundation. Find a shade that matches your skin, and literally, all you do is dip the brush that comes with it in the powder- then tap the brush to get the excess powder off - then apply it with broad, circular strokes. That's really all you need for both foundation AND powder, unless you want to keep some pressed powder on hand for later in the day touch ups. So yeah, try that and see if it works a little better for you. Good Luck Hun!

  4. when you put on powder.

    afterwards.

grad tissue or something and litley dap it.

so a little comes off but not all of it.

  5. try adding moisturiser to your foundation this will spread it out more evenly and also look way less cakey!

If you really want to were powder with it the best thing to do is apply it lightly on a brush!

  6. look for a good brush that will spread the product evenly over your face
