  1. Its good to look in a mirror while doing this. When you put on mascara you wiggle the brush as you put it on.

  2. if you don't want clumps, use the eye lase curler before you apply the mascara. In order to apply mascara correctly, don't put it on the top of your eyelash, it's designed to be used for the underside of the eyelash. do three strokes, and no clumps will occur! also the best mascara to use for a clump-free gloss is  Fantastic Lash Waterproof Mascara from covergirl!!

    hope i helped!!

  3. Before mascara, curl eyelashes for 20 seconds (with one a thousand 2 a thousand/Mississippi in between) then apply a clear mascara. Let that dry.

Apply brown mascara (cause you're blonde) in light layers- you want to gradually build up the colour rather than sploosh it all on at once.

Apply in zigzag motions from root to tip. You are possibly putting on too much. Keep it light.

If you still can't apply mascara, consider a eyelash tint.

  4. Try starting at the base of the eyelashes and brushing all the way through. Sometimes if you wiggle the brush side to side at the roots it helps to separate the lashes. You want to be sure to use a brush with lots of bristles because it separates lashes better, or maybe put primer on first so mascara will go on better. And sometimes if you put on two many coats, lashes get stuck together more easily.

  5. covergirl lashblast mascara is REALLY good. start up against ur eye and pull it all the way to the tips for BIG eyelashes apply 2 or 3 coats and makes sure u brush the tips to make them look longer :) good luck

  6. no u apply the mascara then use the eyelash curler : ]

  7. just get an eyelash comb to seperate them

you can curl before or after

before is better so your eyelashes dont fall out as much

    but after curls better

  8. First of all

DO NOT CURL YOUR EYELASHES AFTER APPLYING MASCARA!!

it damages them and makes them prone to breakages.

first off curl your eyelashes then get a good mascara

    (i use great lash mascara)

put the wand right at the bottom of your lashes  and wiggle it from side to side for a few seconds then brush the lashes upwards repeat this twice and touch up if you want to you can then use an eyelash comb to perfect them. If you get mascara on your eyelid then just wipe off with a q-tip (cotton bud) dipped in eye makeup remover.

hope this helped and good luck!!

    xx

  9. I don't have to curl my eyelashes because they already curl up, but if yours don't then I would suggest doing it.

The best technique for applying mascara in my opinion:

Start at the outside corner and work your way in for the top. Take the brush, place it at the base of the lashes and wiggle it to separate the lashes and apply the mascara the thickest at the base. Then make a sweeping motion upwards to coat the length of the lash, keeping the lashes separated. Repeat the process moving closer towards the inner corner of your eye each time. If they stick together you can always use one of these brushes to separate them really fast before the mascara dries: http://www.thebodyshop.com/images/makeup... you use the non-bristle side on your eyelashes just like combing your hair.

For the bottom lashes, you can use a different mascara with a smaller applicator to accommodate the small area you are working with. Otherwise if you want to use the same applicator, if you have trouble applying it horizontally then rotate it vertically and very gently apply it that way to a few eyelashes at a time.

I use Maybelline mascaras, I've thrown away every other brand except my bare escentuals big tease which I only use once in a while. To me, Maybelline works the best especially the volum' express turbo boost.

  10. If you're curling them after you apply it then that's why they are clumping. Curl them before, and do so more than you actually want them to be. Once you apply the mascara a bit of the curl will disappear. When applying the mascara start at the root and try to wiggle the brush and really get in between them.  Don't just barely touch them. Continue to do that for a bit then just run it through one last time. Make sure not to let them dry as they will clump then also.
