  1. you need to find the laws and rules for your area and follow them then set up a plan that meets with any rules or meets with your financial and educational needs.

  2. you dont need to apply..

we went to a local christian book store called The Scroll and picked up our curriculum there..

the state really has nothing to do with it.

when we graduated we went to the same store and bought  a diploma to fill out..

    it was great..

  3. How to apply to homeschool ? You don't.

Where do I go ? To your mum.

Step 1 - Talk to your mum about letting you homeschool.

Step 2 - If she agrees, she'll need to de-register you from school (presuming you're currently registered at a school).

    Step 3 - Congratulations! You're now a homeschooler!

  4. Go to www.hslda.org to find the rules for your state (this is important).

Now depending on where you live, you will need to deliver (either by hand or certified mail) a Letter of Intent (yes that's what it is called), that says the name, age and grade or level of the child being homeschooled.... some states will ask for a copy of the child's Birth Certificate and Immunization records.

All of this will go to your local school board (they should have an area or Dept. that deals with homeschoolers).

But first start with the HSLDA (HomeSchool Legal Defense Association).

  5. You do not apply to a home school.

Home schooling means that you choose to leave the conventional school system to direct, and take charge of your own education.

Home schooling can be done with the guidance of your parents, who can function as either the primary instructor, or just as a tutor in the area's you may need help.

You, and your parents choose the curriculum, set the time, and your schedule.

You work on finishing your program at your own pace, take the SAT/ACT if you like to attend college; that's it.

Home schooling is a viable alternative to traditional schooling, and can be very beneficial for most students who need more flexibility, would like to graduate early, or simply do not want to waste time on courses that have nothing to do with the direction/career they want to go into.

  6. Caliva.org

They have other states as well go to k12.com if you are not in California.

  7. No application is needed; you just stay home.  There presumably will be a parent there who will do the teaching.

  8. home

  9. Home schooling sucks.  Just ask the people in Colorado.   Matthew Murray was home schooled
