  1. What I feel is poverty can be reduced if we inspire new generation to change their (poor people) attitude towards life.

Ww need to tell them to work hard, there is no shortcut to reduce it.

Corruption is responsible for it's status as of now.

I do'nt know how r we going to stop it.

  2. Well,.both corruption and poverty  always exists together and poverty can't be vanished as long as corruption exists.Let me explain.....

Indian poverty is completely different from that of African countries, where in  people are really suffering from scarcity of food grains.

are we suffering from that type of poverty in India?

No way,Being a worlds third largest food grains producer,India should not face this problem,But it exists.

Because of corruption in public distribution system. As former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi once said, not even 15 paise for every one rupee spends on rural development has not been reaching the real beneficiaries in rural area .Failure of civil suppliers system results in  Rodents eats more  grains in Food Corporation of India go downs than poor people in villages and we should feel ashamed of malnutrition and hunger deaths even after the 60 years of indipendence in the worlds second fastest growing economy.

To vanish the poverty, govt should take many steps to control the corruption and make the administration transparent. In this line more awareness should be bring about Right To Information act

  3. "Haves" and "Have Nots" are like the two rails on which a train called "society" runs. The rails cannot come together. If they come together, then the "society" derails.  Rich are becoming richer and the poor- poorer.  Mahatma Gandhi's golden words on eradication of poverty are worth recalling -  In this world, "one half of the population is starving and the other half is dieting". Who can answer this? Is it a curse to be born poor?

Poverty: To erradicate poverty,  it is necessary to stop stratifying the society and denying the rights of the poor for minimum food, education, infrastructure facilities and amenities being enjoyed/ misused by the rich through over-exploitation of world's natural resources. Example: In some under developed countries, women folk tread more than 5 kms for 2 pots of potable water whereas, just to flush 100 ml of urine, a rich man flushes more than 20 litres of water with one push of the button. Live and let live before it is too late.

Corruption - It is  "plague" being spread by certain rats in our society. It has become the bane of our society and our very existence in this world. It has become imperative for the people to put an end to this nauseating plague and demand from the policy makers, the world over, to pass legislations and make it a universal law to book proven corrupt people under such inescapable laws. Punishments to include, stripping and parading them in public (to h**l with human rights), confiscate their property and use it for public purpose, make them spend their jail term in  barracks in Andamans Islands, debar them from public service for life.

We, on our part as citizens must stop seeking favors from authorities which invariably ends up in practising corrupt ways in our lives because one who "gives" is also equally guilty of encouraging corruption.

  5. Call the cops.

  6. people living under poverty line  somehow  have been reduced  to 20 to 30 %.the real picture may be lower than official picture. most of people do not disclose their actual income. corruption can be eleminated by  us  by not giving any money for speedy disposal in  favour of us and right to information act will solve this problem  by knowing what is the stage of appln, and petitionl.

    Luke 9.60

    Luke 24.44-45

  9. Get rid of the Congress Government.

India first started making economic progress when BJP was in power.

The BJP Government carried out an electoral promise with the 5 nuclear tests at Pokhran, in Rajasthan in 1998, making India an unofficial nuclear power.

The Vajpayee administration also oversaw the country's defenses during the Kargil War, where the Indian military performed assaults and operations to recover strategic mountain posts from Pakistani soldiers who had occupied ground on the Indian side of the Line of Control.

One good way of keeping India down has been by the efforts of Tehelka, the worm within the apple. Just imagine the billions foreign powers gain by this. Losses to India are transformed to gains for them.
