How to ask bouts makeup,,

im 13 going into 7th grade, and i wanna start wearing makeup[eyeliner,and mascara] i already wear a lil powder bc i have mild acne,but how do i ask my mom bout eyeliner?

The first time i asked bout mascara she said yes and bout me clear,and it doesnt work that well...but idk shes kinda strict

Not to be mean but, you're only in middle school. dont put too much on .

eyeliner is okay as long as you dont put too much on.

you're on your own for mascara.

Just ask her and I suggest that you just wear a thin line of eyeliner on your bottom lashes only, until your mom feels comfortable with the fact that you wear makeup.

its true that the younger you start to wear makeup, the faster you'll ruin your skin. my advice: stop wearing powder! mild acne isn't a big deal, i had acne all through high school and never wore foundation. you can't buy good skin so TAKE CARE OF IT. i can't stress that enough. trust me you'll be so glad you did. get a good skin care routine going and you won't need any foundation or cover up. you want to wear eyeliner? go for it. as for mascara, i'd hold off on it. you can try using a clear mascara for a more natural look...it looks really tacky when you can tell someone is wearing alot of eyeliner during the day. and make sure you clean all your mascara off, you don't want to leave it on to clog your eyelash cuticles. my aunt wore lots of mascara when she was younger and never cleaned it properly. her hair cuticles got clogged and some of her eyelashes never grew back. trust me her eyelashes look really bad now, they are thin and few. i love mascara, don't let this scare you away but just make sure that you're cleaning off your makeup proplerly.

My mom is the same way lol my sister is the one who bought me the makeup and I just put it on when I got to school but I didn't slather it on so it wasn't so obvious and then it usually wore of by the end of the day or I just washed it off or she didn't even notice cause I didn't make it obvious so have like an older sibling get it for you or get it you self
