How to ask supervisor to borrow money?

i need $450 now before i get evicted and i am in desperate need for it, i am going to ask my supervisor for it and i know he will lend it if he got it but how do i go about asking him?? I am soooo embaressed i dont even know what word to start the sentence with. please help !

Dont ask to borrow the money this could put him in an awkward position.

I would ask to speak to him privately and explain the situation and ask for a advance on your pay check

I know its tough to ask for money.  Just explain your situation and ask him if there is anyway he can help you out.  Mabye set up a payment plan back to him.  If you tell him when you can give him the money back I'm sure if he has it he will lend it to you.  Good luck...

I wouldn't necessarily ask to "borrow" money... ask him for a payday advance. Definitely explain the situation... best of luck...

You don't go to your boss and ask for money, you get a additional job or go and pawn something to get the money.
