How to assemble a universal food and meat chopper No.1

Question

I bought this at a garage sale and now want to use it. How do I put it together and how does the meat get out. I put it together last summer and tried to use it but the meat got stuck...now I forgot how to put it together . Can you help me????

Put the auger into the grinder body.

Put the blades on the auger shaft, with the flat surface of the blades facing outward.

Put the disk on the shaft so it touches the blades.

s***w the thumb s***w or collar, (depending on the type of chopper you have) on until it is very snug but not tight.  You should feel a little resistance when you turn the handle but it should not require much effort.

Oil the blades lightly with vegetable oil and it should be ready to go.
