  1. Look up your area to see what birds are there and what seed attracks them. Plus berry's you can plant. Peanuts in your yard will attrack squirrels. If you have Deer in your area, they'll just come eat your plants ;)

  2. Plant native plants/trees to your area to attract birds and wildlife.  Google search native plants in your particular area.

Plant bushes like buddlea for butterflies, hebes, salvias.

Have a little pond for frogs, providing it's got plenty of shade.

As for animals?  That would depend on where you live?  If your rural, you'd have a chance of attracting them.

  3. water and food.

    that will attract anything.

You have to make sure the right kind of food though, for the animals you want to attract.  A bird feeder and bird bath is a start (keep it clean though).  Ponds can attract lots of critters too.

Keep in mind, if you are in the city or a suburb, the kinds of animals that live in the area may be limited.  You can't attract what is not there already.

  4. if u want butterflies, add a butterfly bush. if u want squirrels or chipmunks, keep some nuts around in ur yard. if u want birds, add birdbaths, etc.
