  1. Register your number with the "Telephone Preference Service" (TPS) http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/

Also works for mail at the "Mailing Preference Service": http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/

All companies should be using "clean" lists of companies and individuals for who they contact, but i don't know if this is relevant in your country.

Another tip is don't give your details to anyone you don't know, such as competitions, surveys and public networking sites etc.

  2. there is no such number!

  3. All I know is that here in the UK we have  an organisation that we call called the call preference service who do this for us when we register with them, is it an indian version of that which you are looking for? I tried googling it but got nothing, try to look around or phone your telephone company yourself to ask them if they know of such a service, they probably will, good luck

  4. Contact ur phone service provider and ask for

    DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

    Register urself

after around 30/45 days u will not b disturbed by such calls.

    Good Luck
